Copyright Statement

Woodbridge Museum is committed to respecting copyright laws and other intellectual property rights.

The images used on this website come from a variety of sources. Many are the property of Woodbridge Museum, while others were taken by local historian and photographer Bob Merrett. Some images originate from the Historical Atlas of Woodbridge, which was published with the hope that people would use its information and illustrations, provided the source was acknowledged. We gratefully acknowledge the Historical Atlas as an important source of information and images.

Images and associated data on our websites, social media platforms and displays, or supplied to anyone by volunteers of the Museum, must not be used for commercial purposes. Such images/data are for non-commercial research and/or private study purposes. If an image is reproduced, the following credit line must be attached to the image: “by kind permission of Woodbridge Museum”.

Whilst we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information and copyright of the material on this website and on our social media platforms, any and all liability which might arise from your use and reliance on the content so displayed is excluded.

Woodbridge Museum undertakes to remove any image if requested to do so by the copyright holder. If you hold such rights and do not agree to its reproduction then please contact Woodbridge Museum, providing your contact details and the nature of your complaint. This should include details of the image in question, together with a statement that you are the copyright holder or are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder. We may require you to produce proof of your ownership of such copyright.
